Your Video Data Now Lives in Claude (And So Does the "Publish" Button)

When a video’s not converting, you don’t want to dig through a dashboard. You want an answer — and you want to fix it now.
Now you just have to ask.
Vidalytics now connects directly to Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, ChatGPT, VS Code, and any other compatible AI tool through an MCP (Model Context Protocol). Instead of pulling up graphs and cross-referencing dates, you type a question in plain English — something like “where do viewers drop off on my top VSL?” — and get an answer.
What it actually is
MCP is a connection between your Vidalytics account and the AI tools you already use. Once it’s connected, that AI assistant can see your video data and answer questions about it directly, the same way it answers anything else you ask it.
It started out built for developers. Then the feedback came in: a lot of the people who’d actually use this every day aren’t developers, they’re marketers. So we built a proper integrations page with plain instructions for connecting Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, ChatGPT, VS Code, and other MCP-compatible tools. No code required.
What’s live today
- Get answers on plays, drop-off, conversions, and more
- Create or update a CTA directly from your prompt
- Publish a video’s draft settings the moment they’re ready, without opening Vid Settings
- Duplicate a video into any folder and it’s live immediately
- Apply a settings template across a video and publish it in the same breath
- Set a thumbnail from a URL or a frame in the video (or restore the default)
- Build out folders, including nested ones
How to connect it
If you’re on a Premium or Enterprise plan, head to the integrations page. Pick the AI tool you already use and follow the setup steps. You’ll authenticate with your Vidalytics account, and you’re ready to ask.
Prefer the command line? Run this code in your MCP client of choice: npx @vidalytics/mcp install — or just tell Claude “set up the Vidalytics MCP” and let it walk you through it.
Try asking something like
- Where do viewers drop off on my top video?
- Publish the draft settings on my VSL.
- Duplicate the webinar replay into my Test folder.
- Add a CTA at 80% linking to [URL].
- Build me a dashboard of my most-watched videos.
It already knows the answer. Now it can make the change too. You just need to ask.
