Our Recruitment Process

Video Interview

You'll have the chance to present yourself to our team in a more pressure-free environment by recording a short 5-minute video answering some questions about yourself and your experience. 

Simulation

We're fans of data, and that means testing. 🙂 But don't be scared! This will show you even more in detail what a day in the job is like. We’ll ask that you complete a simulation that will be as close as possible to what your job actual role will be like here. This is nothing we’ll actually use in real life, it is only for us both to get a feel of what it will be like to work together.

Deep Dive

Typically done with a Co-founder and your future Manager. This is where we walk through the story of your career and drill down to specific aspects of your accomplishments. This is largely about the culture fit of how you jive with our values.

Reference Checks

We do references different here. Instead of a candidate coming up with any 3 warm bodies that can say something nice about them, we identify 3-5 people we want to talk to that we identified from the deep dive. But rest assured, this isn’t about not having blemishes, or an unrealistic perfect track record. It's about learning the best way to work with you to ensure you succeed here.

We'll ask that you complete a short simulation of a task that will be very similar to your in-the-job tasks. Nothing we'll actually use for the product, but it gives you and us a better idea of what it'd be like to work together. 

Biographical Interview

We'll go through your resume together and chat about your professional experience. Here, we'll get to know your perspective or your trajectory. It's way cooler when you tell us the story with your own words than when we have to read it without any context! 

Reference Checks

We'll ask you to give us three or so references of people you have worked with in the past. This is so we can learn what is the best way to work with you, and so we can make sure you fell at home once you start working with us.
